Our Hungry Caterpillars! Lots of observations when they were wiggling about and when they went into a cocoon/chrysalis. We also made balloon print caterpillars and drew our own caterpillars.

Planting bean seeds

Using the Busy Things website on an iPad. Designing a flower and and watering plants.

Easter fun! Making our baskets for the chocolate eggs from the Easter Egg Hunt.

Earth Day. Taking care of our environment!

The Floating Classroom. An amazing adventure on our local canal, learning about the local wildlife and the importance of caring for our environment.

Incredible Eggs! We have welcomed some eggs in an incubator this week. What is going to hatch out of the egg?

Family Reading Fridays. Thank you to all of our parents who joined in! We welcome all our EYFS parents and families to join us every Friday at 8:45-9:00 am to share a story.

Celebrating World Book Day! We dressed up as book characters and shared a book with our Year Three buddies.

Our first library trip. Thank you to all of our parent helpers. We could not have made it without you!

Exploring Goldilocks and the Three bears. We made porridge and drew a picture of our favourite bear.

Exploring the Three Little Pigs fairy tale. We drew our own little pig and acted out the story.

We created the Three Little Pigs' houses exploring the different materials.

Christmas festivities and fun! Decorating the tree, making cards, meeting Holly the Elf, Christmas lunch and parties. What a busy time!

Blowing bubbles to develop the muscles in our mouths and learning to control our breath. This helps to improve our speaking skills. The bubbles are a real treat!

Science Competition. Having a look at the amazing science projects made by KS1 and KS2. We were very impressed and can not wait to join in!

Making potions!

Ribbon dancing! These big movement activities help develop our gross and fine motor skills plus are a lot of fun!

Making poppies for Remembrance Day

Celebrating Diwali! We made diva lamps from salt dough, created mandalas on the ipad and smartboard and matched the shapes on a mandala pattern.
