Uniform Information
We are proud of how smart our pupils look in the distinctive yellow and navy blue Edward Wilson uniform, which comprises:
- Yellow long- or short-sleeved polo shirt
- Navy v-necked jumper or Navy cardigan
- Plain navy fleece for cold weather, over jumper/cardigan
- Grey trousers or skirt
- Tights must be black or navy
- With skirts, socks must be white, navy or black
- Black leather shoes or trainers (trainers should be plain with no visible logo or pattern)
- Hair accessories must be in these colours: yellow, white, black or navy
- Headscarves must be in one colour and without embellishment (e.g. sequins)
PE kit:
- White PE T-shirt
- Navy PE sweatshirt
- Navy PE shorts/tracksuit bottoms
- Black or white trainers (no patterns or large logo) for PE
- Long hair tied back for PE (teachers will provide hair bands for pupils without one)
Trousers, skirts, fleeces etc. can be purchased from any store – most of the major supermarkets sell affordable options. We are committed to making uniform affordable and recommend these websites for non-branded items e.g. trousers:
We have a limited selection of laundered, second-hand school uniform is available for free for families in need, and the PTA hosts second-hand uniform sales in which uniform can be purchased at significantly discounted prices. Children starting in Reception, whose families are eligible for benefit-based Free School Meals, are entitled to one school jumper, one PE jumper and one polo shirt free of charge.
New -branded school uniform can be purchased from the school office, and the costs are below:
