27.05.2021 - International Cultural Day - we dressed in colours representing our culture or traditional dress. We also took part in a photography workshop linked to different cultures around the world

EARTH DAY - 22nd April 2021 - We dressed in colours of the Earth and used recycled paper and water bottles to create pencil pots

19/03/2021 - RED NOSE DAY - We came to school in our pyjamas today to raise money for our local food bank and for Comic Relief. We also had a visit from the newly hatched chicks!

BIG IDEAS Game Changers Event - today, some of Year 6 took part in this event where we planned how we could make our local area a better place through social action. Some of the pupils had the opportunity to feature on a LIVE STREAM presenting our ideas.

Science - this week we dissected animal hearts to learn more about the structure of the heart

Literacy and Drama - Here we are doing a freeze frame of different parts in our class text - Goodnight Mr Tom

Super Scientists! Today in science, we investigated lung capacity. We had 3 breaths to blow up the balloon as big as we could. We then measured its circumference to determine who had the greatest lung capacity.

World War 1 Trenches - today year 6 experienced life in the trenches. We had to ration food, live in cramped conditions and we wrote some letters home.

Year 6 History Homework. The children have created some wonderful homework about our new History unit - World War 1.

Year 6 Catwalk. In DT this term we had to design and create a piece of clothing from around the world. We look fabulous!
