Breakfast and After School Wraparound Provision

We offer a full wrap-around provision from 8.00 am  to 5.45 pm. This is open to all pupils.

Breakfast wraparound

Edward Wilson Primary School's breakfast wraparound aims to provide pupils with a safe and fun place to start their school day. Breakfast wraparound begins at 8am and is open to all pupils from Nursery to Year 6.

We provide a space for reading and quiet activities, as well as more structured activities such as board games. A nutritious breakfast is provided each morning, and the children will be encouraged to enjoy their breakfast while talking together with their friends and our staff.  At the end of the session, we hope that the children will be fed, happy and ready to learn.

The provision runs from 8:00am – 8:45am every weekday during term time (excluding Inset days). At the end of the sessions, the children will be escorted to their class for the start of the regular school day.

Our healthy breakfast consists of:

  • A choice of 3 low-sugar cereals
  • Toast (brown or white bread) with a selection of spreads (e.g. jams, Marmite and marmalade)
  • Fruit juice, hot chocolate and water
  • A selection of fresh fruit
  • (Porridge and cheese/beans on toast is also offered 2 days a week)

The cost of the club is £2 per day, per child (with additional siblings then costing 50p each).

Please book a place with the office.

After school wraparound
